Wallbarn MetalPad are a 100% full metal pedestal, with no plastic or rubber elements:

• Solid stem, not hollow, for increased strength
• Normal weight tolerance of over 1 tonne each, break point over 3 tonnes
• Large height range from 10mm up to 375mm

The Wallbarn Class A adjustable pedestals have been developed from scratch, not adapted from products used in different fields.

Modular system: Aluminium rail which fixes to Megapads or Minipads using a special rail clip. Additional headpiece for tiling and paving applications fixes to upper side of rail.

Class A1 Fire-Rated Paving Pedestals

Non-combustible, fully adjustable, Class A1 ​pedestals, specially designed for high-rise balconies, terraces and flat roofs. 

Non-combustible to BS EN 13501-1

Continuous thermal insulation refers to a layer of insulation applied across the entire building envelope without any breaks or gaps, covering all structural elements like studs or joists. This effectively eliminates “thermal bridges” where heat can easily escape through exposed framing, resulting in energy-efficiency.

Designed for exterior applications

The building heat absorption in summer is significantly reduced.

Made from 100% Class A1 thick galvanised steel

The inner layer accumulates internal heat in winter.

No plastic or rubber components

Less condensation and moisture problems due to the constantly renewed air.

Self-levelling headpiece up to 5% movement in all directions*

The external layer of the system works as a protective barrier against atmospheric agents, an effect known as “RAIN SCREEN”.

Solid stem for superior weight tolerance

Ventilated façades provide very good acoustic insulation due to its non-homogenous structure and material diversity in each layer. This covers a wide spectrum of sound frequencies.

Profiled Aluminium rail joists click securely onto MetalPad. ​Specifically profiled aluminium rails 25mm or 50mm click ​onto the headpiece without need ​for screws, drills or mechanical fixings ​ensuring a secure connection

Strict testing

Physically tested in accordance with procedure specified in BS EN 13823:2020. Complies fully with British Standard BS 8579.
